"In Nature’s Stillness, Love Prevails"
Story: Nature
Photo: Vijay Madan
Vijay clicked this multiple photographs with his Nikon when he was on his terrace garden.
Vijay was spending a peaceful afternoon in his terrace garden, watering his plants, lost in the rhythm of nature. The hum of the city below had faded into the background, leaving only the soft rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of birds to keep him company. As he moved around the garden, adjusting pots and tending to the greenery, two unexpected visitors flew in—crows, their wings cutting through the air with grace and precision.
They landed gently on the DTH antenna affixed to the wall of Vijay’s room, unaware of his presence, as if the world belonged only to them. Vijay stood still, his Nikon camera in hand, and watched as the two birds engaged in a delicate dance of affection. They perched close to one another, heads gently bowing, their feathers brushing softly as they communicated in a language beyond words.
Time seemed to halt. The breeze paused, the sun softened its gaze, and nature itself held its breath. Even the city below, usually so noisy and indifferent, seemed to fall into silence. The two crows, unaware of the observer in the garden, became a symbol of love in its purest form—unconcerned with the chaos of the world, finding beauty in the simplest of moments.
Vijay raised his camera slowly, careful not to disturb the scene before him. With each click of the shutter, he captured not just two birds, but a fleeting, timeless tribute to love—raw, untamed, and woven into the very fabric of nature. The crows stayed for a while, lost in their world, before flying away as quietly as they had arrived, leaving behind a sense of stillness that lingered in the air.
As he reviewed the photos, Vijay smiled, knowing that he had just witnessed and immortalized something extraordinary. Nature had conspired to offer him this intimate glimpse of love, and in return, he paid tribute with his art—a reflection of how, even in the vastness of the universe, love finds its way to the smallest corners, in the quietest moments.
