MASTER THE ART OF COMPOSITION

Composition is as important to a photographer as it to a painter or artist.
Design, sketch and drawing are equally important to the artist as they are to the photographer.

To make a picture powerful and absorbing one should master the technique of composition

Basic elements of Composition

Rule of Thirds

The rule of two-thirds is based on the theory that the human eye has the tendency to move up to a point that is two thirds up a frame.Using this will help achieving a visual balance and dynamic appeal in an asymmetric composition. For achieving this, the main object of interest and other important elements of your composition should be placed on one- third point where the two horizontal and vertical lines are intersecting. Then place the less important subjects at the intersecting point that is diagonally opposite to the main subject.
